Packing is the part everyone underestimates. A two-bedroom flat is usually two full days if you are doing it yourself around a job, and it is almost always the reason a move starts late.
We do it two ways. Full packing means we bring the materials and pack the whole place, usually the day before. Fragile-only means you do the books and the clothes — the bulky, unbreakable things — and we do the glassware, the crockery, the pictures and the lamps.
Either way, every box is labelled with the room it is going to, not the room it came from. Standing in an empty hallway at six in the evening, that is the difference between unpacking and archaeology.
What comes with every job
Not upsells. These are on the price we quote you.
Materials included
Boxes, tape, bubble wrap, packing paper and wardrobe cartons come with the service. You are not buying them separately.
Wrapped, not rushed
Blankets, mattress covers, sofa wrap and floor runners come on every van as standard.
Labelled by destination
Every box marked with the room it is going to in the new place, so the crew puts it down in the right room first time.
Same faces
The person who surveys your home leads your crew on the day. We never pass jobs to subcontractors.
One fixed price
No hourly meter running while we wait for keys. The price on your quote is the price you pay.
Unpacking too
If you want it, we will unpack and take the empty boxes away. Tick it on your move tag.

What you want us to touch
Some people would rather pack their own bedroom. Completely fine — tell us and we price around it.
Anything genuinely valuable
Artwork, instruments, anything with real value needs declaring, so it is both covered properly and packed properly.
Kitchens take the longest
A full kitchen is often half the packing time on its own. Worth a mention when you ask for a price.
When you need it done
The day before is normal. Same day is possible for smaller places, but it makes for a long day.
