A house move is mostly a question of how much there is, and how hard it is to get out of one door and in through another. We come and look — in person or over video, whichever suits you — then work out the van size and the number of movers, and send you one price in writing.
That price does not move. If the job takes longer than we judged, that is our problem. You are not paying for our miscalculation, and you are not watching a clock while the crew carries a wardrobe down the stairs.

Mention these when you ask for a price and they get priced in, rather than sprung on you later.
Stairs and no lift
How many flights, and whether the turn at the top is tight. That changes the crew size more than the amount of furniture does.
Anything very heavy
Pianos, safes, American fridges, garden statuary. We would rather bring the right kit than improvise on the day.
Completion on the same day
Common, and manageable, but it changes how we load the van. Tell us early and we plan around it.
Loft, shed and garage
