Most furniture does not go down a staircase in one piece, and a fair bit of it was built where it stands. Taking it apart properly and rebuilding it at the other end is part of the job, not an extra we spring on you at the door.
Our crew brings the tools. Fixings go into a labelled bag taped to the piece they came off, which is why your bed goes back together in twenty minutes instead of becoming an evening's work with a torch and a guess.
We will also build flat-pack you have bought but not opened, and take apart things that are staying behind but need to leave the room. Tick it on your move tag and it goes on the price.

Anything old, glued or fragile
Some furniture does not survive being taken apart twice, and some was never meant to come apart at all. We will tell you honestly what we think before we start.
Mirrored or glass-fronted wardrobes
Heavy, awkward and genuinely worth mentioning in advance so we bring the right protection and enough people.
Fitted furniture
Built-in wardrobes and fitted kitchens are a different trade, not a removals job. We will say so rather than take the work.
Flat-pack still in the box
Happy to build it. Tell us what it is, because a chest of drawers and a corner sofa bed are not the same afternoon.
